AI Agent Builder

Agent Builder empowers enterprises to build, train, and deploy AI Agents into their businesses. These agents automate operations-heavy workflows in an accurate, secure and scalable way. I helped build and ship Woflow’s Agent Builder for our major restaurant and retail partners.

The problem

Many enterprises outsource non-core operations to third-parties or do them in-house. Think tasks like building retail catalogs, or verifying customer disputes. These workflows are often time-consuming, expensive, and prone to human error. Operators spend a lot of time coordinating with vendors and auditing, which takes time away from core operating functions.

Design solution

Agent Builder uses team knowledge bases and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to build reliable AI agents. The experience is akin to training and providing continuous feedback to a specialized operations team. The full product suite includes evaluations, custom tools, and observability features. I led design for several core features that span across the agent lifecycle.

My role

I led the design of several core features for Agent Builder which consisted of facilitating product discovery sessions, creating wireframes, and conducting user tests with internal operators. I also led weekly design office hours with internal users of the product to gather feedback on design concepts as well as opportunity areas. I was able to design QA directly on the shipped product by leveraging AI coding tools.

Outcome

In an early pilot with a multi-billion-dollar food delivery platform, we helped build and deploy AI agents to support various merchant support tasks. Workflows powered by Agent Builder achieved up to a 100x reduction in handle time. Because the platform is industry-agnostic, Agent Builder has enabled Woflow to expand beyond its traditional restaurant and retail verticals into new lines of business.
