Streamlining merchant onboarding

One of Woflow's core products is Link, which streamlines merchant onboarding by allowing sellers to automatically transfer their product catalogs from one sales platform or POS system to another. As one of the leading BPOs in the restaurant and retail data industries, we partnered with a Fortune 500 retailer to seamlessly onboard merchant catalogs onto their platform.

The problem

When merchants join a new selling platform or switch POS systems, they must manually upload their entire product catalog—a time-consuming and error-prone process. Keeping catalogs updated is even harder, since any product changes like price or inventory must be repeated across every platform the merchant uses.

Design solution

Link enables merchants to connect their existing POS to the platform where they want to sell. Once connected, Link automatically imports the merchant’s full product catalog, making setup fast. Link also enables merchants to “sync” their data– meaning any updates made to their original catalog will persist across all platforms connected through Woflow.

My role

I collaborated closely with Product and Engineering throughout the entire product lifecycle—from early ideation up until design QA. I led the design of the catalog editor and settings pages, and delivered several new features that were introduced over the course of the project.

Outcome

After launching Link, our Fortune 500 partner quickly saw strong adoption in their merchant onboarding flow. Today, 1 in 4 merchants choose Woflow to instantly connect their product catalogs. The integration of Link has also supported the partner’s successful rollout into several new geographic markets.
